Introduction
Product and Price are key concepts of Oopy membership service. Our purpose is to help you to get paid with your content. In order to get paid, you should have Product to sell and Price to take.

Prerequisite
It is required for you to set Stripe keys before managing Product and Price.
Product
Product is what you sell to people. Because what we are building is a digital content business, it's a little bit different from real world. You can think of a Product as a ticket(or permission) to a certain content. If a someone bought a Product, then they can get access to content related to the Product.
Basics
You can create/update/delete a Product in the admin.

Hierarchy
You can create up to 5 Products. There is a hierarchy between Products. Product at the right is higher than that of at the left.
'Vip product' is higher than 'Basic product'
A member who bought a 'higher' product has 'higher' permission than a member bought a 'lower' product. You can think of it as level or tier.
For example with a case of above image, a member with 'Vip product' can get access to content of 'Basic product', but a member with 'Basic product' cannot get access to content of 'Vip product'.
Price
A Product can have multiple Prices. A member can buy A Product at a certain Price.
Basics
You can create/update/delete a Price in a Product page.

Price strategy
You can manage multiple Prices for a Product, which enables you to build flexible price strategy. For example, you can offer discounted price for longer time of use for the same Product.

$10/year, which is 20% off from the monthly price for a year($12)
With multiple Products with a hierarchy and associated multiple Prices, you can build your own price strategy to maximize your profit.
Coupon
You can use Coupon feature of Stripe. Create a coupon(and promotion code) which meet your needs and let your member apply it in mypage or checkout page.
Tips
•
Product and Price cannot be deleted if there is a member who bought it.

Instead, you can deactivate a Price in the admin.
